Friday Favorites- Week 11

Happy Friday everyone! This week all the songs are from the show Nashville. Last night was the SERIES Finale. With that being said these are the five songs that make me think of the show as well as my favorites!

Boys and Buses: Hayden Panettiere

This is just a fun song basically saying that don’t let one dumb boy drag you down because just like a bus there will be another one coming in a few minutes. This was one of the first songs I heard while watching the show and I fell in love with the song instantly.

Don’t Put Dirt On My Grave Just Yet: Hayden Panettiere

This is also a great song! I feel like this song is a girl power fighter song! Not giving up but getting stronger and not letting the troubles bring you down but more so raise you up and get you stronger.

Black Roses: Clare Bowen

I always thought this was a powerful song. Why always bring the bad things, not the happy things that are wanted. As soon as you bring me the negatives I turn negative. I’m done dealing with that and trying to fix it all while you go ditch me.  Even though it’s not a bright cheer song this is definitely an “in your feels” type of song.

A Life That’s Good: Lennon & Maisy

Even though this is not an original ‘Nashville’ song this is THE song that comes to mind when I hear the show Nashville. Being grateful for what you have in life knowing how blessed you truly are is one message a song with a story should always be brought into. Even when things get hard you still have a great life and people who love and care about you.

Sideshow: Charles Eston

I have always loved the character Decan and thought he would make a good brother for Chuck Wicks. This song was in such a sad part of a season but the message was so great to go along with it.

Nashville had a great run and was a fantastic show. It will be truly missed by fans everywhere!
