Friday Favorites- Week 8

Happy Friday y’all! Since this past Wednesday was the 4th of July I figured this week I would do all America related songs! I hope you enjoy and again It’s finally Friday, so happy Friday!!!

Independence Day: Martina McBride

I remember blasting this song with my old babysitter in the car! The windows would be rolled down and the music was loud and we would be singing this song at the top of our lungs over and over again!

Courtesy Of The Red, White, and Blue (The Angry American)- Toby Keith

This is another song that was blasted in a car as a child. My dad and I would sing this song and I never understood the lyrics but I liked the tune and how angry Toby would get. I just loved to sing this song as a child too!

Party In The USA- Miley Cyrus

Some may argue that this isn’t a country song but I still think it is. This was my favorite song when I was about eight or so. I was a huge Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana fan. This song by far was one of the best! Blasting this song at birthday parties was a must and everyone knew the words! Now it’s just a great throwback!

It’s America- Rodney Atkins

This song is a perfect description of America. Kids selling lemonade, high school proms and of course riding in trucks. It shows how great America really is even though we as a country go through a lot of bumps there are always those times where we come together and show the world why America is amazing!

Only In America- Brooks & Dunn

This is another fun get up and dance song! Very American too! Just like the previous song this song represents America. The beat is very catchy and makes your head bob without you even thinking about it.
